Architecture questions the built environment at multiple scales, from the detailing of connections to a building’s organization on the site. To serve a design’s broader purpose, our investigations value experimentation as much as craft.
What's in a name?
“Tractor” is derived from the Latin root tracto, meaning “to draw” or “to discuss and address.” Thus, the word describes our approach to architecture as a process of production and as a dialogue with our clients. The name also recalls a Polish expression, “Strong like bull, smart like tractor.”
